Hi, my name is Orgilmaa. The little girl in this photo is my niece. She is just over one year old. She is currently in the ICU, and she needs a liver transplant to survive.

๐ถ HER STORY
Since the day she was born, this little girl has been fighting. Her first year of life โ the year that should have been full of first steps and first words โ has instead been spent in hospitals.

She was born with a rare and serious liver disease called biliary atresia, a condition where the bile ducts are blocked, preventing bile from draining properly. This causes damage and scarring to the liver over time. Namuu was diagnosed too late, and at just 2 months old, she had to undergo major surgery known as the Kasai procedure. It was a major operation for such a tiny body, and her recovery was slow and fragile.
Shortly after, her parents' U.S. visa expired and the family had no choice but to return home to Mongolia. The long journey home was too much for her weakened body to handle. While the first surgery was initially successful, it could not stop the ongoing damage to her liver. Her condition rapidly deteriorated. Today, Namuu's condition has progressed to the point where her own liver can no longer sustain her life. Her only hope now is a liver transplant.

The surgery she needs is not available in Mongolia. After exhausting every option at home, her doctors have identified a hospital in China, that can perform the transplant โ but we must register her immediately.
