Hi all,
we have been hit with some serious vet bills for our pug, Lily. In mid-May, she had an intestinal obstruction that we caught just in time. She was able to have the surgery, and her recovery was slow and steady. We finally got the green light from our vet to let her out of her kennel and run free, and we gave her a bath that she desperately needed. Suddenly out of nowhere, she became weak and vomited twice. Her gums and tongue went completely white and she became unable to stand on her own. She is now currently back at the emergency vet being cared for and they suspect anaphylaxis. We have no idea what caused it, but after this visit, we have had to spend close to $6,000 in vet bills to make sure Lily is okay.
