After fighting homelessness and long COVID, Amanda was able to get a job at the IRS in 2024, only to lose that job in 2025. She finally found a job she loves, but it's only part-time and needs help staying housed until she's employed full-time.
UPDATE: I've gone without hot water and heat for four months. It's gas and was turned off. I applied for LiHEAP, but they can't cover the whole cost, and I need to take care of $1,000 on my own. I had a large credit (I thought) when i first moved in. That turned out not to be the case.
So many people are in a terrible place, but so are many resources. Thanks for any help!
