I can’t believe I am going to do this, but circumstance has left no choice. Our sweet, beautiful Periwinkle has become sick with bladder stones and is going to require surgery. This is devastating news for the family. Periwinkle was our celebration of Will completing his chemotherapy 2 years ago. She has brought so much joy to our family and is the symbol of strength and perseverance for all of us. Saturday, she piddled on a plastic bag and Josie saw blood. The vet graciously got us in today and while the news is good, it’s not good financially for us. The aftermath of cancer is tramendous and we have been struggling under the weight of it. Then earlier this month we had to say goodbye to our precious Lady Pretzel Berry unexpectedly. As we are still paying for that trip to the emergency vet, we can’t afford the expense of Periwinkle.
I’m not sure why July needed to test us as much as it has. Maybe to remind me that we are strong! I am asking you humbly to donate to help us save our cat and prevent my kids from being heartbroken once again. Thank you for your prayers and all you have done in the past to help is.
