That is what being “perfect” means to me.
As a military child who has constantly had to relocate, I formed what “perfect” means to me -despite no one being perfect. I learned to be passionate, charismatic, and thoughtful to others; while, learning to be resilient in understanding that I am very fortunate for who I have as family. As a junior in high school, I hope to keep encouraging myself and others as a role model because everyone can be extraordinary. As a way to positively influence others, I am participating in a COBEAU.
The Cotillion-Beautillion (COBEAU) is an enriching experience to introduce young African-American ladies and gentlemen to society. As I embark on my journey to adulthood, I aspire to become an anesthesiologist. This program will also offer a competitive platform for me as a participant to raise funds for post high school education. This is a milestone in reaching my goal.
The conclusion of the program is a formal ball where the participants are presented and acknowledged for their accomplishments throughout the program. With your caring support I am one step closer in achieving my dreams. Thank you for contributing to my success.
