I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to share a touching story and a chance for us to make a genuine impact on the lives of a family in dire need of our support.
Recently, while one of our family members was hospitalized in the ICU after surviving a heart attack, my family and I crossed paths with Anjali Muthiene's family. They are pure souls going through an unimaginably difficult time, and we feel compelled to lend a helping hand.
Anjali and her family are originally from Tallahassee, Florida, where they have been residing for the past decade on a work visa. She ran a home daycare while her husband worked remotely on a contract basis for a well-known company. However, a month ago, their lives took a devastating turn while they were on vacation in Atlanta. Anjali's husband suddenly experienced seizures and was urgently rushed to the hospital. Since then, he has been in a coma in the cardiac ICU, fighting for his life.
Currently, he is in a critical condition, requiring a tracheostomy, a feeding tube, and extensive rehabilitation. This has left Anjali and her son spending most of their days in the hospital family lounge, hoping and praying for a miracle. At night, they rest at a nearby hotel or find solace in the temple.
Anjali is facing an overwhelming challenge as she worries about her son's education. Because they are not current residents of Georgia, her son cannot attend school in the area. Moreover, with no family or friends nearby, they are all alone and have no support system to rely on.
To make matters worse, they have no current source of income, and bills, including their mortgage in Tallahassee, continue to pile up. Anjali faces the risk of losing her home, her car, and the stable future she dreams of for her son.
In light of this situation, we are initiating a fundraising campaign to raise $25,000. This fund will help cover the substantial transport expenses needed to move Anjali's husband back to their hometown for crucial medical care. As his condition is critical, the transfer is both challenging and expensive.
