Help Us Fight for Justice, Truth, and Healing
Dear friends, kind souls, and those who believe in justice,
My name is Nicholas Carrozza. I’m a father, a partner, and now, an advocate fighting to restore the life my family once knew. On July 7, 2024, our lives were changed forever. My beloved partner, Kathleen, and our 1 year old, Jordan, were in a devastating car accident in North Huntington Township. Kathleen suffered a traumatic brain injury that has left her unable to advocate for herself, and unable to do the job she loved as a nurse turning our lives upside down and leaving Jordan and me heartbroken.
Since that fateful day, we have faced unimaginable challenges—not just in caring for Kathleen and helping her recover but also in a relentless battle for justice and truth. What should have been a straightforward quest for answers and justice has turned into a nightmare tangled in red tape, unresponsiveness, and what I can only describe as a disregard for our rights.
The Aftermath
Kathleen, who once brought light into every room she entered, now faces a long and uncertain journey toward healing. Every day, she fights to reclaim pieces of herself. She requires constant care, medical treatment, therapy, and unwavering support. I have been by her side every step of the way while also caring for our son, who deserves to grow up knowing that even in dark times, love and resilience can overcome.
A Battle for Justice
While focusing on Kathleen’s recovery, we’ve encountered a harsh and disheartening reality with the local authorities and justice system. Our requests for transparency and crucial information surrounding the accident have been met with stonewalling, threats, and apathy. Officials we trusted to protect and serve have instead closed their doors and labeled our pursuit of truth as a nuisance or worse. At times, I’ve felt voiceless and alone in a fight I never thought we’d face.
We’ve been denied critical footage, subjected to delays and dismissals, and even threatened for daring to ask for accountability. But I will not be silenced—not for myself, not for Kathleen, and certainly not for our son. This battle is about more than just our family; it is about the principle that every person deserves fair treatment, respect, and justice.
Why We Need You
In addition to the emotional toll, the financial burden has been immense. We need help with ongoing legal costs, and our family’s day-to-day needs as we continue to seek justice. We have also been left without a vehicle because it is in police custody. Every contribution, big or small, is a step toward ensuring Kathleen’s recovery and holding those responsible accountable.
How You Can Help
By supporting our cause, you’re standing up for a family that refuses to give up. Your generosity will help fund legal battles for truth and accountability, provide for Kathleen with necessary items to make here day to day life with these new challenges manageable, and keep our family afloat during this tumultuous time. Most importantly, your support sends a powerful message: that no one facing injustice should have to stand alone.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading our story, for sharing in our pain, and for standing with us in hope. We believe in a better tomorrow and will keep fighting for it, for Kathleen, for Jordan, and for the countless others whose voices demand to be heard.
With deepest gratitude and hope,
Nicholas Carrozza
