I am organizing this fundraiser for my dear friend Dr. Edgar Haiek.
Edgar is a retired psychiatrist who dedicated his life to helping others with compassion and wisdom. He supported countless patients through their most difficult moments. Now, he is facing a critical health crisis of his own.
Recently, Edgar suffered a fall and fractured his pelvis. He urgently needs surgery, but he also requires placement in a geriatric psychiatric facility due to ongoing mental health struggles. The combination of his physical injury and psychiatric needs makes his care complex and costly — far beyond what his family can manage on their own.
All donations raised will go directly toward covering the costs of his surgery, hospitalization, and the specialized psychiatric facility he urgently requires.
