Hi, my name is Nyah. I recently finished my college basketball career and earned my degrees — but my journey is far from over. My dream has always been to become a Physician Assistant, and while I’m ready to put in the work, there are important (and costly) steps I have to take before I can get there.
After years of dedication on the court and in the classroom, I’m now away from home, learning how to navigate life beyond college sports. I’m working hard to support myself while preparing for the next chapter, but the financial load of additional prerequisites, certifications, and application fees is heavy.
To apply to PA school, I need to:
-
Complete prerequisite classes like Organic Chemistry
-
Earn my Medical Assistant certification
-
Purchase medical equipment and supplies
-
Pay for application and testing fees
As a first-generation college graduate and a former Division 1 athlete, I’ve learned how to work hard, stay disciplined, and push through challenges. Now, I’m asking for your help to take these next steps toward my dream of providing compassionate, life-changing care to others.
Any amount you can give — big or small — will bring me closer to this goal. If you can’t donate, a share of this page means the world to me, too.
Thank you for supporting me in this new season of life.
