Hello family, friends, and anyone who has happened to see this. My sweetest baby kitty has a hyperthyroid! Uh oh! We caught it at the best time you could catch something like this. It is treatable and could be 98% cured. There are two treatment options I was given. The first treatment option is having her go through radiation at Feline Hyperthyroid Treatment Center. This option is the one that would 98% cure her. The second option is medication once or twice a day. This is the more affordable option but a big risk is that 20% of cats are allergic to this drug. You won't know until 4-6 weeks in. She is 15 and otherwise a healthy kitty for her age.
I was told by Frankie's vet that the estimate of radiation would be around $1500. So, I am creating this GoFundMe to see if I can get anywhere near the cost so I can go with the best treatment for Frankie. If I do not meet the cost for radiation and can't do the radiation, I will use all the money in this GoFundMe towards Frankie's medication and her vet bills.
