Those of you who know Kyle (or my sister) know that he has gone through an unthinkable past few years with 2 intestinal transplants and many complications that have accompanied them. While they are still trying to unbury themselves from medical bills associated with all of his past surgeries and treatments at the Cleveland Clinic, tragedy has now struck again.
On Monday, October 20th, Kyle was involved in a terrifying motor vehicle accident which has left him in the hospital yet again. He is lucky to be alive, but has sustained many injuries including a brain hemorrhage, broken back (in multiple locations), fractured sternum, fractured ankle, lacerated spleen, along with multiple cuts and bruises. He is scheduled to have spinal surgery today (Saturday October 25th) and will require plenty of occupational and physical therapy along his road to recovery.
With the uncertainty of when he will be able to return to work, and my sister’s need to care for him during this difficult time, people have asked how they can best help. So against his request not to, I’ve set this up as a way for people to help assist with everyday bills, etc during this unimaginable life event.
