Dear friends, family, and supporters,
Since relocating to Miami in October 2023, Debbie has been fully committed to intensive spinal rehabilitation. She trains daily at NeuroFit 360, showing remarkable determination and resilience. What once seemed impossible is slowly becoming reality through relentless effort, patience, and faith.
Recovery from a spinal cord injury is truly a marathon. Progress is gradual, but Debbie shows up every day. Her strength, balance, endurance, and body awareness continue to improve, and every small gain is a meaningful victory earned through months of dedication.
While this progress brings hope, it also brings significant financial strain. Intensive therapy, adaptive equipment, and accessible housing in Miami are extremely costly, and insurance coverage remains limited. Continuing this level of care is only possible with the support of our community.
We are asking for continued support of Debbie’s recovery fund. Our $40,000 goal will allow her to remain in Miami and continue therapy at NeuroFit 360 for the next two years, which is a critical phase of her recovery. After that, our hope is to bring Debbie back home, where she can be reunited full-time with her family and transition to a maintenance-based therapy program.
