Greetings,
I extend a warm welcome to my fundraising page. My name is Veronica Delgado, a 42-year-old woman from Thermal, California. Throughout my life, I have gained valuable insights, particularly the importance of cherishing the simple aspects of life and not taking anything or anyone for granted. Unfortunately, I have faced numerous challenges, beginning with the tragic loss of my husband at the age of 31 due to gun violence and mistaken identity. Thankfully, I managed to rebuild my life and moved to Bakersfield, California, where I enjoyed five years of peace until another unfortunate event occurred. I became a victim of an online scam, which ultimately led to financial difficulties and the loss of my manufactured home due to unpaid space rent. This situation left my disabled father and me homeless. Nevertheless, we refused to surrender and fought for stability and a new home. After finally securing a rental, tragedy struck once more when the house we were living in caught fire, resulting in the loss of everything we owned. We faced the uncertainty of where we would sleep next, but we were given the chance to stay in an unoccupied trailer. Despite the harsh living conditions, we persevered and adapted to our circumstances. Currently, we reside in that trailer, continuing our struggle to overcome our losses. With faith, we aspire to embark on a new journey towards stability and financial security, which is why I am seeking assistance to establish my chocolate-covered strawberries stand. Any support you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration, and I hope you can assist with my fundraising business plan.
Sincerely, Veronica Delgado
