We're asking for help to save Stitch' life.
Stitch swallowed a corn cob, and while it hasn't caused an intestinal blockage yet, it can happen at any time. Our veterinarian has recommended surgery as soon as possible to remove it before it becomes life-threatening. Waiting and hoping it passes on its own isn't worth the risk, as it could become lodged in his intestines and become worse.
The last visit was $400. We’re able to use a veterinary financing account to help cover some costs, but there is still $1500 remaining that we need help with. After yesterday’s expenses, we only have about $2,000 towards the surgery. The surgery is estimated to cost around $3,500, and we simply don't have enough to cover the remaining balance.
We've done everything we can to find another way to pay for the surgery. We both applied for CareCredit and Scratchpay, but unfortunately neither of us was approved. We only have a little more than half available until the next paycheck, and Stitch simply doesn't have time to wait.
Asking for help is one of the hardest things we've ever had to do, but Stitch is family, and we're going to do everything we can to get him the surgery he needs. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward his surgery and medical care. Proof of everything will be provided.
