Hi! My name is Mark Lepow, I’m 60 years old, and in stage four kidney failure. When I get to stage five, I will start dialysis and will be placed on the kidney transplant list.
I created this SpotFund campaign to help fund my move back to my two children. Right now, I live SW of Jacksonville, and they live West of Orlando. I used to make this drive weekly (even when I had two kidney drainage tubes coming out of my back), but now it is more like every four to five weeks due to my lack of funds.
To get quite serious here for a moment, time is of the essence because while my very strict diet and exercise have decreased the rate of damage to my kidneys, I am sliding toward stage five and dialysis.
BUT I REFUSE TO GIVE UP! Yes, I’m stage four kidney failure but there is so much more I can and want to do both as an individual and in my favorite role in life, that of dad to my son and daughter.
