🚨URGENT/TIME SENSITIVE🚨
I have known this family for well over a decade. They have TWO days before eviction is filed in TX, a state we all know does not gaf. They do not need a ton, but $350 stands in the way of a Queer family including 4 minors (some also Queer and/or not able bodied) being unhoused after so many struggles. One member is a dedicated healthcare provider.
From the family:
“Basically we have been playing catch up for the last 6 weeks since getting covid at work. Due to my asthma worsening I was out of work for 10 days and Lane was out 5. Basically meaning we missed most of our paychecks. Then right after our wedding which we scrimped for, our tire blew. That was more money we didn't have. Due to lack of income we missed some bills and now rent. We have made arrangements for my car and now rent and Power are due by Thursday or the landlord will file for eviction and power would be cut off.”
They only need $350 minimum to prevent this, y’all.
Let’s do the damn thing we are good at, mutual aid, and make it happen for them.
