On October 12th, 2024, we experienced a devastating tragedy — Brenlee passed away due to smoke inhalation from a house fire. She was barely 7 years old, and her loss has left a permanent mark on all of us. In the midst of unimaginable grief, we’ve found purpose in creating something that can serve others in their hardest moments. We’ve launched an initiative called Brenlee’s Closet, which aims to provide gently used clothing and shoes to families who have lost their belongings in house fires — something simple, but vital, to help lighten their burden. We are raising money to start up a primary distribution center (which will double as a business to help support this nonprofit organization), our 501C3, our LLC, and to eventually raise enough funds to purchase a mobile smoke simulator for use in the Tri-County area, helping teach children what to do in case of a fire through hands-on demonstrations from our local fire departments.
