Help me restore my grandfather's 1977 ford pinto, its with great hope that I can get it in the road again before my grandfather passes. He's 89 years old and is ailing. The car was bought new by my grandfather back in 1977, and I have many fond memories riding in the car with my grandpa and my father. I will outline my goals below.
1. Repair or replace all damaged suspension components.
2. Repair or replace braking system and components.
3. Upgrade engine for reliability and slight performance for highway cruising as the old 2.3 lima cant keep up with modern highway and freeway traffic without being dangerous.
4. The final goal would be paint and body work to bring it back to a factory finish but this isnt strictly needed.
