Hussam is a 25 year old wheelchair basketball athlete for Palestine. He sustained an injury from a bombing in 2014. At only age 14 he became paralyzed from the waist down. He needs a complex surgery that is also not available to him.
Hussam requires urgent medical care for a tumour he has had in his foot for way too long now without access to treatment. He also requires ongoing life saving hemophilia meds that ensure his blood clots to prevent and treat internal bleeds (meds are low in supply in Gaza, if they run out this will be a disaster!).
Substantial funds are needed to ensure he can be supported to evacuate, secure housing, purchase a new wheelchair, and also for his medical care and procedures. Just his medication itself can exceed $10k per month.
Please consider becoming a regular sponsor of Hussam's by setting up recurring donations, sharing Hussam's campaign with your networks, running fundraisers to raise funds for him. Every single dollar raised will help bring hope, health and a bright future for the beautiful Hussam and help get him back on the basketball court doing what he loves most!

Since then, Hussam and the family have been displaced multiple times sheltering in tents under bombardment. The complete blockade of aid means Hussam is risking running out of access to his life saving medications. There is no disability access or support left in Gaza. Funds raised on the previous GFM platform have been largely used for cost of living for himself and the family. It is vital more funds are raised to continue to support Hussam and the family and have funds accessible to support evacuation and medical costs as soon as that becomes available.
