We hope this message finds you well as the new year begins. It’s not easy for us to ask for help, but we’re reaching out during a time of desperate need for our beloved dog, Sassy.

Sassy has been diagnosed with Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA), a life-threatening autoimmune disease where her immune system attacks her red blood cells. She’s fighting so hard, but she urgently needs a blood transfusion to survive.

Sassy isn’t just a pet—she’s a mother to many puppies who’ve brought joy to families across Brooklyn. She’s been the heart of our home, and her bond with her mate, Rio, is something truly special. Rio has been by her side, her best friend, and her companion. We know they’re “just dogs,” but their love for each other is real, and we want to give Sassy more time with Rio and their family.

The costs for her treatments, tests, and ongoing care have quickly become overwhelming. Blood transfusions and the necessary veterinary care are incredibly expensive. We’ve been exploring every option, including loans, but the approval process is taking too long, and Sassy’s condition can’t wait.

We’re humbly asking for your help to raise $9,000 to cover Sassy’s medical expenses. I know the number sounds far, but does anything help to cover the bills that we have been packing on?
