MISSION
The V. Rose Family & Friends Foundation aims to honor the legacy and continue the charitable work of the late Verel V. Rose, in her home communities of Manchester, Jamaica and Rochester, NY.
CHARITABLE INITIATIVES
- Back to School - Provide financial support to students and families in Rose's Jamaican hometown
- Christmas - Provide financial gifts to families in need in Rose's
Jamaican hometown - Shawn C. Anderson Scholarship - Annual scholarship to support underserved students from Rochester, NY - Rose's community of over 50 years - entering a four-year college or university
PLEDGE CONTRIBUTIONS
V. Rose Weekend, an annual celebration of Verel Rose's life and charitable contributions, will serve as the annual tentpole fundraising effort. All contributions will fund Back to School and Christmas initiatives.
