Homelessness has skyrocketed during this pandemmic with millions of people losing their jobs. Not only that, but diseases and disasters are still wreaking havoc across the globe. Even if we are distanced from society, the least we can do is support those who need it. 229 million people have been saved this year, with Red Cross sheltering those who need a place to stay for the upcoming winter, raising natural disaster funds, and doing blood drives. I´m a middle schooler with the assignment of raising money for a non-profit organization. I felt the Red Cross would be the perfect choice, so I want to ask you to donate just a small amount to eventually reach me and my classmates´ 90 dollar goal.
"Whether it is a call to action for blood drives, disaster relief, or just community outreach, the American Red Cross does an extraordinary job at not only meeting the immediate needs of a community, but also the preparation and planning for long-term support." ~ Darius Rucker, a volunteer of the American Red Cross.
