Hello friend and fam. I don’t typically like asking for help but I could use some help. Last week my car was parked out in front of my house and it got hit by a car. It totaled both cars and the person didn’t stay at the seen so it is considered a hit skip. I have insurance but it is only liability so it doesn’t cover uninsured or stolen cars which that is what this falls under. So fyi if you have liability insurance make sure you add non-insured vehicle cover coverage or hit-and-run. I didn’t know this so it screwed me bad. I’m still waiting to hear back from the police to see if they find this guy but the likelihood is slim. So I’m looking at taking out a car loan or fixing my current car which will be costing my thousands of dollars I wasn’t prepared for. I’m also looking for free advice to what I should do in my situation. Please share with your friends and family. Thanks for the help in advance.
