Our friend Matty Matt needs your help!
On 3/1/26 Matt became disoriented and was sent to HCA Florida JFK Hospital in Palm Beach. While there he had multiple seizures lasting 10+ hours and was diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma or brain cancer. Because it was caught so late there is no treatment and his condition will only worsen over time. Amazingly Matt has stabilized from the seizures, is recovering, is in good spirits and fully coherent, but his outlook is bleak. He requires 24-hour care, and the next seizure might be his last.
His closest family and friends are working together to see that he gets the care he needs. The outpouring of support has been amazing so far as friends and family have been with him around the clock. The hospital will keep him for now as Hospice is not yet an option. But he is in need of a full care facility to stay in the time being and will probably need far more assistance in the coming days.
Matt would not approve of this fundraiser but many already have already reached out and expressed interest in helping Matt and his closest friends felt it was a good idea to have an official page dedicated to the cause. The first thing we will use the money for is to get his phone turned back on and glasses fixed. Any money donated will go directly towards his care and be fully used at his discretion.
