Honoring Beth Webster: A Legacy of Love, Strength, and Education
Mrs. Beth Webster served students at both Monroe and New Richmond Elementary Schools as an Intervention Specialist. She was loved by all. Despite an ongoing battle with Leiomyosarcoma, a very rare form of cancer, Beth regularly showed up at work with a smile on her face and a tireless commitment to be there for her students and her colleagues. For almost six years, we watched her meet her health challenges head-on with nothing but a positive attitude, unyielding faith, hope, strength, courage, and bravery. Beth will forever be remembered for her amazing positivity and her contagious smile! In 2022, she lost her well fought battle.
Beth was truly an inspiration to everyone in our entire learning community, so much so that the district renamed their Leading Lion Award in her honor. In addition, the district, along with her loving family has set up a memorial scholarship that awards a graduating senior with $1000 award to further their education.
This Annual Fun Event is put in place to honor Beth's legacy and to help raise funds to continue the scholarship well into the future. Beth was part of setting this scholarship up before she passed away and it was something near and dear to her heart. Please consider donating to the cause or joining in the fun on May 16 from 6-8PM.
