Hi friends, as you probably have already heard, my wife, Sue,  passed away July 19, 2023 after a long battle with Dementia. She was diagnosed in 2010 with Dementia after going for a check up because she was getting a bit "forgetful" as she put it. In October 2017 after my son, Bobby,  suddenly passed away,  her already confusing world turned upside down and that was the REAL beginning of the end for her mental state. By 2020, her speech was very limited except for the same few questions repeatedly, "What time is it?" "How old am I?" and "Do we live here?". In 2022 she was, as her doctor put it, "fully demented". Such a harsh phrase for such a beautiful, lovely and strong person that I STILL thought she was.  Through it all, and until the end, she still recognized myself and my daughter.  What a blessing!  We were married for 58 years and even though the last few years were draining and heartbreaking watching her decline, I would give anything to have her back.  At any condition she was in.

Sue worked very hard her entire life, and retired from AT&T after 43 years of service and had a good retirement nest egg, but as you all know it goes fast and we exhausted every single asset, plus some, just trying to take care of her while keeping her home where she wanted to be and where I wanted her to be.  So, as hard as this is for me to do, I am dropping my pride for a minute and asking for donations to help give her a memorial service/celebration of life that she wanted as her final wishes. We have received $600 so far towards our goal, and I know that times are tough and money is tight right now for everyone, so any amount donated would be greatly greatly appreciated. Thank you so much, God bless and thank you in advance!🙏❤️
