Teddy is our 3-year-old dog, who has been our best friend since he was a puppy. He was diagnosed with VKH when he was just 6 months old, and since then, we've been doing everything we can to manage his condition. Teddy is an incredible dog—well-behaved, friendly, and always excited to greet anyone he meets. For those who know him, they can attest to his gentle nature and loving spirit.
Recently, Teddy's condition has worsened, and on 04/07, his eye ruptured. He now needs urgent eye removal surgery to relieve his pain and prevent further complications. This has been a heartbreaking and difficult time for all of us, but we are determined to do everything possible to help him. After the surgery, Teddy will need lifelong medication to control his condition and hopefully save his other eye for as long as possible. The costs for his care are overwhelming, and that's why we're reaching out for help.
