Hi, I’m Alyssa. I am a 24 year old stay at home mom to our beautiful daughter.
I am trying to surprise my husband & pay off all of our debt.
I work part time for a local business, I have a small stitching page where I hand embroider on sweaters, & am now turning to tiktok to try & pay everything off. I also struggle with post partum depression/anxiety, so returning to full time work is hard to do. If something doesn’t change soon, I’m not sure what we will do.
We have no emergency fund, & nothing to fall back on if anything were to go wrong. By paying off our debt, my husband would be able to see our daughter grow up, place money into a savings account, & overall just breathe easier.
Right now, daycare for our daughter would cost us more than our mortgage & she refuses bottles, making daycare not an option. I have been looking for a WFH job to do full time, but has had no luck.
My husband works as much as he can at his normal job, & working extra on the side to keep us afloat. He never asks for anything in return but I know he yearns to be at home with his family, & that’s where we want him too.
I have a delusional goal of paying off all of our debt which is $87,000. This includes vehicles, medical bills, loans, & more. We want to live & not just survive.
We dont have a giant fancy house or fancy cars. We are just an average family who believes in miracles. I appreciate everyone who is on this journey with us, & I know that if we all work together, we can turn this delusional dream into a miracle that gives this family their life back.
