A pastor once said "miracles happen in transition." Like for the Israelites in the desert. On their way to the Promised Land, they witnessed many miracles, pillars of fire, rocks providing water, the parting of the Red Sea.
While in Colombia the Lord continued to remind me of this phrase, and to show me spaces where people needed assistance in the transitional spaces. Spaces where typically they may fall through the gaps, where they can be quite vulnerable.
The perfect space for the Lord to show up and for miracles to be life-changing. For seas to be parted, and for water to spring forth from rocks. For manna to fall from the heavens.
Bridge of Hope International was born out of this idea. It exists to support vulnerable people in transition, whether that be fleeing their home country, leaving abusive relationships, or navigating the challenging life circumstances that have been tossed their way.
We have supported single Venezuelan moms, teens fleeing gangs, and young women leaving abusive relationships. Currently one of my sweetest girls has left her abusive family to serve at an orphanage where she can care for other vulnerable children.
Bridge of Hope exists to continue to support and uplift those in transition, those leaving something hard and finding the miracles as they pursue the dreams the Lord has given them.
You all have supported me endlessly and continued to show up so that I can continue to step out in faith and continue to Glorify, Grow, and Go, as pastor Chris would say.
