Aloha!

Our Ohana, the Marzan's, in Lahaina are all safe, but unfortunately, they have lost their homes and all their belongings.

Our cousin Artch and her ohana was awakened by someone in the neighborhood pounding on their door and was told to quickly evacuate their home. They looked outside and saw the glow of the fire. They had no time to pack any belongings since the fire was minutes away from taking their lives.

They were able to evacuate, and for a few days all they could do was wait, until they were finally given the okay to return home. Driving into Lahaina after the fire was absolutely horrifying. They talked about the traumatizing experience and an unforgettable, gruesome smell comprised of burnt wood, metal, and possibly death. A beautiful historical town to a landscape with nearly nothing left.

Oblivious to the fire burning his hometown, our cousin Nino and his Ohana were not in Lahaina. He was on Oahu battling and supporting to keep his son alive.

Just weeks before the fire happened, his son Ola (10), was diagnosed with leukemia, and has been spending their time with ongoing treatments at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children. His home, below, has also been destroyed.

We pray and ask for your kokua during these tragic times. Your donations are greatly appreciated!

100% of the monies will go directly to our Ohana and will be divided amongst them.

Mahalo nui loa!
