I am a single mother going through a very difficult time. I know many of you are also students, so I’m not asking for money. If you could simply share my fundraising page, it would already mean so much to me.
I lost my job in October of last year and have not been able to find stable work since. My son is currently studying in Iowa, and this April he must pay for his annual housing and meal plan in order to continue his education.
Unfortunately, because I still have outstanding student debt, my son is not able to qualify for additional student loans. At the moment, I only have about $100 left in my bank account.
Right now, I am staying temporarily at a Buddhist nun’s home who has kindly allowed me to stay for free while I try to get back on my feet.
