My sweet Lolita girl has recently been diagnosed-on Saturday, April 19th, with an autoimmune disease, IMHA, and has been in the emergency veterinary hospital since. IMHA (Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia) is a disease where the immune system attacks and destroys its own red blood cells, causing anemia. This can be life threatening.

Lola is receiving the best care she can get, which is, unfortunately, very expensive. The purpose of this gofundme is for Lola’s future treatment as well as medical bills thus far.

It’s really uncomfy to ask for help, especially financial help... I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t my last hope. I just want to do everything I possibly can to give Lola the chance to live out the rest of her (very much loved) life.

For anyone who hasn’t had the opportunity to meet Lola, Lola was born in 2016 completely deaf. Her momma, while pregnant, was rescued from down south and brought to a shelter in Joliet, where Lola was born. No one, including myself and the shelter staff, knew she was deaf when she was just a little puppy. I finally pieced it together after the 4th of July-where she took a nice, long nap, during the fireworks. Being deaf does not limit Lola whatsoever, in fact, she couldn’t care less! (lol) Lola is a very lovable girl, with so much personality and a lot of life left to live. I wanna do all I can to give her that opportunity.

Thank you everyone for giving this a read. Even if you can’t donate, please send positive thoughts and prayers for my sweet girl, and share this page with anyone that comes to mind.
