A little background for you that do not know personally about our family. We were blessed over 4 years ago with our granddaughter Maizie and over two years ago with our grandson Parker. They have lived us and their all these  five years as their mother ( our daughter) worked to become independent. These two little ones have become more than grandkids to our family and have brought so much joy to our household  This year my employer had me scheduled for relocation this August ,so we sold our AZ Home so we could purchase a new home where I was getting relocated. Our whole family including Maizie and Parker were going to move with us for a new start and change for the positive.Six weeks before we were getting to move as our new home was scheduled to be completed, our daughter was sued for custody by the kids father. I won't get into the details on this platform but this was a complete surprise due to the fact they have never lived with him or more more importantly he has not been part of their life in any aspect including education, religion, or financial support. This would definitely not be a safe environment due to his past of abuse and drug history. We were going to try to get a lawyer pro bono but due to the short time frame and that we need a emergency court relocation motion, we had to retained a lawyer and with all the evidence we have we know that she can get full custody even if it's not immediately, so she can continue to move forward with her life as we help with the two little ones. Due to the time frame with the move , we are not in the financial place to pay the whole advance fee of $10,000, so are looking for help so that can keep our family together and to keep our two grandchildren safe and with their mother full time.
