Ava and Naomi have been given the opportunity to spend a week in Costa Rica with Black Girls Go Global, a non profit organization who are "committed to rectifying the gender and racial imbalances within Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) fields".
During their time in Costa Rica they will live and work in a small village on a farm/animal sanctuary. They will learn about the environment, land, soil, energy conservation, social issues and many other topics. They will also focus on 1-2 United Nations Sustainability topics.
Both will earn a minimum of 12 hours of community service from Costa Rica as well as earn a Global Citizenship Award. Both girls are very excited to learn about the host country as well as help with the animals and farm.
Please consider donating to help Ava & Naomi "Go Global".
*All funds donated will go towards their total program cost.
