Mission #1 Update – Nutrition & Hygiene Support for Refugee Families in Eastern Chad 🇸🇩🤝🇹🇩
Dear friends, supporters, and community,

Today, we are honored to share an important update on Dar-Aid’s first humanitarian mission and to thank each and every one of you who stood beside us with your duas, donations, and support.
✅ What We Have Accomplished Together
By the Mercy of Allah and through your generosity, Dar-Aid has achieved the following milestones during our first year:
💰 Goal: $5,000
🌟 Raised: $6,755 Alhamdulillah
⚕️ Emergency Cholera Response Completed
In partnership with Drjeal Medical Organization, we mobilized immediately during the cholera outbreak and completed the hygiene portion of our mission earlier than planned, distributing:

📦 Served 500 families — Alhamdulillah.
🤝 Community Engagement & Growth
🏆 Competed in a business pitch competition to build support
🗣️ Raised awareness across our community
🎤 Spoke at the Kudusi Annual Conference
🍰 Hosted World Refugee Day bake sale in Utica and another fundraiser with ASU at Clarkson University
✍️ Officially registered as a nonprofit in New York State
🏦 Opened nonprofit bank account for transparent operations
🤝 Partnered with Doroti grassroots organization in Chad
🩸 Began partnerships with sister orgs focused on menstrual, nutrition & dignity support
All of these steps strengthen our foundation for long-term, impactful humanitarian work.
