Support Hope & Scott In Their Time Of Need

I am here pleading for assistance, but not for myself. My friends Hope and Scott are desperate. Hope has cerebral palsy and her husband Scott takes care of her. They are good people who have been through more than anyone should ever have to be. They have very little to live on, but somehow find it in themselves to help others. They will go without before allowing their friends and family to go without. They have helped me tremendously in the past and I am doing this to try to pay them back in some small way. I hope they see this as a hand up not a handout. Scott is the hardest worker I have ever had the privilege of knowing. He never stops even when he has reached his limit he will continue past it. He fell ill in February 2019. The pain was intense and he was in unable to keep anything down even water. The pain was so bad they took him to the emergency room at Coliseum Hospital in Central Georgia where he was diagnosed with hiccups told to stay on liquids and go home. Later that night he was screaming in pain again they sent him home and told him to stay on clear liquids. Later on he returned again to the emergency room. This happened not one, not two but three times they sent him home on the 4th trip to the emergency room they tried to send him home, Hope put her foot down and said no send him to the Medical Center so he was sent to the The Central Georgia Medical Center now known as Atrium Health. There he was diagnosed with necrotizing pancreatitis, his pancreas was killing itself and other vital organs . He was in the hospital for 4 months in and out of the ICU repeatedly desperately fighting for his life. He struggled for all those months and finally he began to improve they were able to send him home where he went through a long recovery. He never fully recovered but was able to go back to work on light duty. However, in March of 2024 he was in a traumatizing motorcycle accident. This landed him back in the hospital with a compound fracture, a broken arm and all of the veins in his hand were severed. Scott has been in and out of the hospital ever since he got sick in 2019 and had to have several surgeries to repair the damage to his arm he has lost the ability to do the work that he has always done and now they're facing losing their power, their car and even their home because he's unable to work to pay the bills. He has surmountable medical bills and utilities,rent, car insurance. They are desperate people who don't deserve to have to deal with this after all the other things they have gone through in their lives. It has not been easy for them but they make themselves available to others even when they don't have anything to give they find a way to help. It's time that somebody found a way to help them. I am unable to financially provide assistance for them. It breaks my heart that they have to go through yet another traumatizing event I know that times are hard and everybody is struggling in these days and many of us have received assistance from some venue or some friend or family member. To those of you who have you know how hard it is to ask for help. Scott and Hope would never ask for help or repayment for the things that they have done, or the things they need so I am coming on here on their behalf. This is the only way I know how to help them is to ask you to please find it in your hearts to help these two people who I feel have struggled enough. I wish I could do more for them. Hope is having to watch her husband the once strong and independent man she dearly loves get worse everyday and it's killing her emotionally. Please help me help them.
