Hello! My name is Eóin Walden, I am a Film Production Major in New York and I am currently raising money for my Senior Thesis!
My team and I are looking for donors for my Thesis film, Eyes Of God to be filmed this semester as part of my Bachelor's in film at CUNY Brooklyn College.
The story follows an artist in a small Appalachian Mountain town in 1970, After seeing a creature in his dreams, he is convinced that he has witnessed the true face of god. He sets back out into his dreams to find the rest of the creature so he can paint it, but what he discovers may be more sinister... and reaching out with a purpose.
Coming from a family of visual artists, the story of obsession, creativity, and exploration of the taboo is a personal one for me in many ways, one which we wish to tackle through a variety of art styles.
My team and I intend to incorperate live action and hand drawn animation together to tell this tale, partnering with a California institute of the Arts student to achieve this Who Framed Roger Rabbit - like project. Along with this, we plan to dive into charcoal art, experimental vfx, and an original soundtrack from local musicians.
We are strongly anti Artificial intelligence, and plan to make this a 100% human created film. No Ai is apart of our story or its creation process, down to the concept art displayed here.
Our Shooting Dates are: October 24th, Nov 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and December 19th, 20th
We plan to shoot throughout the State of New York in a variety of awe inspiring locations for the viewer to get lost within.

The film will be debuted at the Brooklyn College Thesis screenings festival in Spring 2027. Afterwards it will be distributed to a wide array of festivals worldwide to reach as many people as possible who can appreciate this story along with us!
About the Director:
Eóin Walden is leading the shoot after writing this short over the course of about four years. He has already found acclaim in his Award Winning feature film debut Entity which released in late 2025. He has numerous short film credits under his name already, with this to be his grandest yet, and first dive into the traditional hand animation style.
