Rhys is a certified 1 year old Good Boy who seems to have the worst of luck. Starting out he had to have major surgery when he was neutered because he was born a cryptorchid. Next he started going blind in his left eye due to a congenital condition that creates early cataracts. Most recently, after hours of vomiting, the ER vet found a blockage in his intestines. The blockage will not pass on its own and must be removed surgically. The surgery alone will be over $7,000, not including the emergency care and scans he received which totaled $3500.
