Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Strangers,
I am reaching out to you on behalf of my sister, daughter, wife, and a dedicated mother of three beautiful children: a 14-year-old boy, Nicholas, an 11-year-old girl, Eliana, and a lively 2-year-old boy, Liam. Recently, Aviann at 39 years old has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a type of cancer that requires extensive and aggressive treatment.
As you can imagine, this diagnosis has turned her world upside down. The emotional and physical toll is immense, but the financial burden is also overwhelming. Aviann has always been a pillar of strength and support for her family, but now she needs our help.
Financial Struggles:
The costs associated with cancer treatment are astronomical. Aviann is facing numerous expenses, including:
1. **Medical Expenses**: The cost of chemotherapy, doctor visits, and medications is immense. Despite insurance, many out-of-pocket expenses are not covered.
2. **Loss of Wages**: Aviann has had to take significant time off work to attend treatments and medical appointments, leading to a loss of income. Trying to meet the hours that make ends meet have become difficult when she has these appointments and is not feeling well from her treatments.
3. **Child Care**: Ensuring that her 2-year-old son is cared for while she undergoes treatment and getting the rest that she needs to recover is essential. The cost of reliable childcare adds another financial layer to the family's burdens.
4. **Everyday Living Costs**: From groceries to utility bills, the everyday costs of running a household have become increasingly difficult to manage on a reduced income.
