I am raising funds to support a cause close to my heart, inspired by Darren Pointer's dedication to providing opportunities for young people in Jacksonville. iSALOOTu has always believed in the potential of inner-city kids and their need for alternative pathways to success. While many face the traditional expectations of college or military service, iSALOOTu envisions a future where their unique talents are recognized and nurtured within the workforce directly.
Targeting 17 to 24-year-old Black and Brown students, he focuses on those who often don't see themselves in conventional careers. By connecting them with mentors and internships, iSALOOTu hopes to create a bridge to lasting, meaningful work. His goal is to give these young adults the tools they need to thrive, breaking cycles of limitation and opening doors to possibilities they hadn't imagined before.
Seeing firsthand the hurdles these kids face, iSALOOTu’s commitment is unwavering. His dream is to raise $20,000 to make this vision a reality, changing lives in a way that resonates deeply with who he is. Supporting this initiative means empowering a community and believing in the promise of each individual’s future.
