Right now, my family and I are facing one of the hardest moments of our lives—we are currently without a home and living in a car.
We never imagined we would be in this position, but due to circumstances beyond our control, we lost our housing and are doing everything we can to stay together, safe, and hopeful while we figure out our next steps.
Living in a motel has given us a temporary roof over our heads, but it’s not something we can sustain for long. Every day is uncertain, and the costs add up quickly, making it harder to save enough to move into a stable place.
We are working hard to get back on our feet, but we need a little help to bridge the gap.
Our goal of $3,000 will go toward:
Security deposit and first month’s rent
Basic necessities to help us transition into a new home
Relief from the daily cost of food, showers, laundry, so we can save and move forward
Any amount—no matter how small—brings us one step closer to having a place to call home again.
