Support Reethika's Urgent Medical Recovery

Please Help G. Reethika Fight Through This Difficult Time

I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of G. Reethika, a 19-year-old undergraduate freshman who is currently fighting through a serious medical crisis. Reethika underwent brain craniectomy surgery and is also suffering from ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenia).

She spent approximately three weeks in the MICU and is now receiving continued intensive care and rehabilitation at a rehabilitation center. Her family is facing an overwhelming financial burden. Approximately $16,770 (₹16 lakhs) is needed for her treatment, and her rehabilitation costs around $3,145 (₹3 lakhs) per month until she recovers.

After her condition improves, she will also need a brain cranioplasty surgery as part of her recovery. Reethika’s mother, G. Rajini, age 40, works as a maid and earns only around $252 (₹24,000) per month. Because of Reethika’s condition, she has had to leave work and stay with her daughter to care for her. This has made an already difficult financial situation even harder for the family.

Reethika is only 19 and has her whole life ahead of her. She was pursuing her undergraduate education and working toward building her future, but right now, her family’s priority is simply helping her recover.

I am asking for your help because the cost of her treatment and rehabilitation is far beyond what her family can manage alone. Any contribution, regardless of the amount, can help Reethika continue receiving the care she urgently needs.
