Our landlords have decided that ours and several other mobile homes in their park are too old. They want them out of the park. Thus we will be evicted. We get less than $2,000. a month on social security. We can’t afford to move and we can’t stay here. We own the 1963 mobile home, but we can’t sell it or afford to move it (to where?).
My partner has fibromyalgia and I just had a kidney transplant after 11 years of dialysis (caused by a doctor giving me the wrong medicine).
Grants and section 8 housing has long waiting lists, we have applied. We can’t afford affordable housing. I am looking into forclosiers. But, we have little time. It seems our best option is to buy a box van and covert it to a tiny home.
We are 68 and 70. With our health issues we will not survive for very long on the streets. We need your help
