Help an Elderly Neighbor - Electrical Power
In our resort community, we’re lucky to have neighbors who bring kindness, history, and heart to the place we call our happy place. One of our full-time neighbors is an elderly gentleman living on a very limited fixed income, doing his best to maintain his home and independence. Recently, he’s been faced with a serious electrical issue that he simply cannot afford to repair on his own. He was also recently scammed out of his only funds he receives each month. This is the reason I am turning to helping him with a Go-Fund me.
The electrical system in his RV had become unsafe and urgently needed professional repair. Stephen Persinger came out and did the electrical work and was kind enough to help with the cost of the repair as well, thank you. Without this electrical issue being corrected he would continue to see $500-700 a month electric bills that he can’t afford. He has no family and no financial cushion to fall back on.
I am asking that we all come together as a community to help cover the cost of these repairs $2500, so he can continue living safely in the home he loves. Every contribution—no matter the size—makes a meaningful difference. Even sharing this fundraiser helps more than you know.
