Every family pet holds a special place in our hearts. For my daughter, Sydney has been more than just a dog—she's been a steadfast friend and a source of comfort. Since admitting her to the NC State Veterinary School Animal Hospital on March 25, 2026, we have been grappling with the uncertainty and fear of not knowing what comes next.
As Sydney bravely underwent extensive tests, including lab work, an abdominal ultrasound, and x-rays, no answers surfaced. But we remain hopeful and determined to find a cause and cure. To do so, Sydney requires further testing, which will be crucial in diagnosing her condition and developing a life-saving treatment plan.
