In 2013, my life changed unexpectedly when I suffered severe burns. The road to recovery has been long and often challenging, but each day brings a little more healing and hope. I’ve come a long way, though the journey is far from over. The support I’ve received from friends, family, and my faith community here in Cohoes, New York, has been incredible and kept me going through difficult times.
Even now, I experience ongoing medical needs which require further treatment and care. While I continue to make progress, the financial burden is significant. Despite the challenges, I remain optimistic and deeply grateful for every moment of kindness and encouragement from those around me. Each gesture, no matter how small, lifts my spirits and strengthens my resolve to keep moving forward.
