Pure Basketball is preparing for our final two live periods of the season in St. Louis and Memphis, Tennessee — and we’re asking our community to help us give these young men an experience they will never forget.
Basketball is bigger than a game. It’s discipline. It’s brotherhood. It’s opportunity. For many of us growing up, moments like these shaped who we became as men. They gave us purpose, memories, and dreams bigger than where we came from. Now it’s our turn to pass that same experience down to the next generation.
This journey is about more than playing basketball. We want these young men to travel together, eat well, bond together, compete at a high level, and experience life outside of their everyday environment. In Memphis especially, we hope to expose them to the rich Black history and culture that lives within that city — because growth happens both on and off the court.
Pure Basketball is only in its first year, but this is only the beginning. We truly believe it takes a village, a community, and people willing to pour into our youth to help them reach scholarships, opportunities, and futures they may not even see for themselves yet.
