I am an international PhD/doctoral student in the United States, and I am going through one of the hardest moments of my life.
Recently, I was hit on the freeway in Santa Ana, California, by a drunk driver. In a matter of seconds, everything changed. My car was totaled, I was injured, and I was left dealing with emotional trauma, stress, and fear about my future. My car was not just transportation; it was what I depended on to work, go to school, and survive.
After the accident, I lost my job, and now I am struggling to pay my basic daily expenses and my outstanding school balance. As an international student, my education is directly connected to my visa status. If I cannot pay my school balance, I may lose my student visa status and the future I have worked so hard for.
I came to the United States with a dream: to study, work hard, build a better future, and contribute through my education and experience. I never expected that one accident caused by someone elseโs reckless decision could put everything at risk.
I do not have family here in the U.S. to turn to, and facing this alone has been extremely difficult. I am asking for help with my school balance and basic living expenses while I continue searching for work. I am a mechanical engineer with professional experience, and I am actively looking for a job. If anyone can help with a job opportunity, referral, or connection, I would be deeply grateful and willing to send my resume immediately.
I am also willing to provide proof and documentation for everything stated, including the accident, school balance, and my current situation.
Any support, no matter how small, would mean more than words can explain. Even sharing this fundraiser or helping me find a job could make a real difference. Please help me stay in school, keep my visa status, recover from this hardship, and keep my dream alive.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.๐
