The StoicMom Project launched an online community center in late 2022. It’s come to be known as the SMP Center and serves as a refuge and resource center for moms dealing with a painfully destabilizing circumstance with one or more of their children. The community is private and by invitation only; moms are vetted through an application process to ensure the community is a good fit for their needs and goals while preserving the "sacred" culture these moms have come to cherish.
We’ve since proudly helped many moms to stabilize and begin to thrive again in their relationships and in Life. Here’s one mom’s testimonial:
“When you’re parenting a child through this difficult experience, it’s so important to take care of yourself and find support for your own growth and development. The SMP has really helped me do this work. I’m better able to manage anxiety and be more strategic and intentional in my parenting. I’m able to live more in the moment, not worry so much about the future, and trust that my daughter will grow through this experience. It’s so freeing to not be so scared all the time, because you can’t parent effectively from a place of fear.

Membership dues fund the Center's operations and encourage engagement and commitment. Some moms who apply to receive the support and guidance offered through the Center have circumstances that make the dues unaffordable. This fund will be used to offer scholarships to these moms and make it possible for them to participate in the learning community offered at the SMP. Moms on the scholarship program have requirements that must be met to stay on scholarship.
This goal will provide full 1-year scholarships to 10 moms in need! Partial scholarships will go even further. There is currently a waitlist for scholarship and we're eager to let these moms in! Donate today to help a mama access this vital support.
