Hello ♥️ thank you so much for being here. My name is Allison Hull (@memorialcrumbs on IG) and I am raising funds for my friend, Osama Badwan (@osama.badwan_96 on IG and @osamabadwan96 on TT).
Osama is responsible for the well-being of his mother, his younger brother, and his two unmarried sisters, as his beloved father passed away.
The days Osama and his family longed for have finally arrived. The joy of surviving the destruction of the Gaza Strip wells up in their hearts and helps ease the pain of so much loss. They are so grateful for every donation and all the love and support you have provided over these difficult years.
Though there is a ceasefire in place, the daily struggle for survival has not disappeared. Every day Osama must find a way to provide food, clean water and other necessities for his family. His tireless dedication to his loved-ones will not falter, and we will do what it takes to rebuild their lives, despite the remaining difficulties.
Prices remain high and the commissions they must pay to access funds are still enormous (between 30% and 50%). While we hope they will go down in the near future, we must plan as if they will remain elevated because there is not yet a clear path forward.
Now that the bombs no longer rain down, Osama and his family want to rebuild their lives. The family home is badly damaged and they need to make repairs. Winter is coming and the nights are already very cold. They need to weather-proof with nylon, tarps and anything else they can utilize to protect themselves from the weather. Once this is done, they can begin the slow and steady task of making structural repairs.
